Ed Smithson - Director
Ed joined Truestone in early 2007as a senior consultant in the Employee Benefits team. Prior to joining, Ed spent 13 years working for actuarial consultancies, most recently as a senior consultant at Hymans Robertson.
Ed is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI). He has wide experience of finding solutions to the issues employers and trustees face in the day to day management of their benefit arrangements and in particular their pension schemes, advising on all areas of good governance and developing successful change management strategies.
Ed is also an expert in developing and implementing bespoke communication strategies for his clients, an area he has a particular interest in. He sees this as a critical part of any employee benefit programme that many organisations fail to address properly or simply overlook.
